Background
Sarah studied history and economics at the University of Birmingham before completing the Common Professional Examination and Legal Practice Course at York College of Law. She has specialised in personal injury and clinical negligence law since qualifying in 1993. Sarah joined Jefferies Solicitors Essex in June 1996, was made a Partner in 1999 and has been the Firm’s Managing Partner since 2001.
In Work
Sarah practices in all aspects of personal injury and clinical negligence law from minor injuries through to catastrophic injuries and fatalities. Sarah is currently involved in a number of high-profile clinical negligence cases, including the failure to advise as to the side effects of a subscribed dopamine agonist and the failure to promptly diagnose a ruptured small bowel before developing into catastrophic internal organ failure.
Outside Work
Sarah lives in Maldon with her family. She is Chairperson of the West Maldon Community Centre and is a keen supporter of Maldon Rugby Club.
