Background
Mark was schooled at St Thomas More and then attended 6th Form at SEEVIC. His Law Degree was obtained at The University of Kent at Canterbury. After the legal practice course at the College of Law, Guildford, he qualified in March 1986 and joined Jefferies Solicitors Essex in 2003.
For the first 15 years of his career, Mark was a General Practitioner running a branch office so dealt with conveyancing, matrimonial and litigation.
In Work
Since joining Jefferies Solicitors, he’s specialised in conveyancing with a mix of both residential and commercial properties – ranging from one-bedroomed flats to multi-million-pound hotels and is now Head of the Conveyancing Department.
Outside Work
Outdoors, Mark is a member of Benton Hall Golf Club in Witham and, with his son, a season ticket holder at Southend United.
Indoors, he was in Rayleigh Round Table for many years until falling foul of the age rule.
He has a keen interest in the arts, particularly world cinema.
He is the secretary of Essex General Housing Association, a charity which owns a block of 27 flats offering low cost rents.
