Background
Kym started her career as a Junior at a law firm in East London back in 2002 where she stayed for 6 years. She then worked at another South Essex law firm for over 15 years where she continued her training and gained her level 6 CILEX qualification in Law, graduating in 2016.
Kym has over 20 years of experience in law and has specialised in Wills and Probate for the last 15 years.
In Work
Kym joined Jefferies in May 2023. She has vast experience in drafting Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and administering a wide range of Probate matters of varying complexity (taxable and non-taxable). Kym also has experience in making applications to the Court of Protection in relation to Property and Financial affairs for clients who have lost mental capacity, as well as administering trusts and deputyships.
Outside Work
Kym’s time outside of work is mostly spent looking after her family. This involves standing at the side of a rugby pitch or watching her family’s other sporting activities unfold. When time allows her, she enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as travelling (especially to a warm Greek Island for some downtime!)
