We are delighted to announce that our Property Department have been named Property Team of the Year at the 2016 Modern Law Conveyancing Awards, which were held in Liverpool on Thursday 14th July. These awards recognise the law firms and conveyancing experts across the UK; Jefferies Solicitors were the only Essex based law firm in this category and to win an award over the course of the evening.
Property Team of the Year was awarded to the team the judging panel felt demonstrated a specialism within conveyancing. The Jefferies’ property team have an excellent reputation for all forms of conveyancing from buying and selling houses to commercial transactions within the local community; this includes the niche area of Leasehold Enfranchisement.
Leasehold Enfranchisement includes extending a lease including negotiating the terms of the lease, helping the leaseholder buy the freehold and assisting freeholders sell the freehold of their flats. It was this specialist department that was specifically recognised.
