Divorce and Finance – What About the Pension?

Aviva’s 2018 Divorce Survey says 22% of females and 15% of males say they made no claim on their partner’s pension and that the pension was not considered in the settlement of assets.

Pensions can be one of the most valuable (and complex!) assets. If the asset is built up during your time together as ‘Team Family’ it is only fair that it should be considered as you move forward on your separate paths.

We specialise in dealing with financial matters when families are separating. We adopt a sensible and amicable approach so that you can both move forward.
