We recruit trainee solicitors based upon our business needs, often from our current paralegals.
Currently we are looking for future trainee solicitors, ideally with some paralegal experience, who are looking to qualify through one of the different available pathways. Applicants should be studying or have completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC), GDL or be following the SQE route. We are looking for trainees that have achieved a 2:1 or higher, although a 2:2 will be considered if you have additional skills or experience.
Paralegals and trainees should be friendly, enthusiastic, and well organised, with commercial awareness and a practical approach.Successful applicants will be primarily based in our Southend office but may be required to visit our Chelmsford office on occasion.
We hope that a training contract will only be the start of your career journey at Jefferies, and it is our aim to offer all our trainees a position at the end of their training contract.
